Our Rector

The Rev. Justin McIntosh

Justin received his degree of Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, along with a Diploma in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School.

Justin grew up in Virginia, attending high school in McLean, and he went to the College of William and Mary, where he majored in Religious Studies and History.  His wife, Elena, is also from the Old Dominion, having graduated from Madison High School in Vienna and William and Mary.  After finishing college, Elena spent two years as a Teach for America teacher in New York City.  She currently teaches in the ESOL program at Key Middle School in Springfield and serves as a "model classroom teacher" for Fairfax County.  On September 1, 2011, Elena and Justin had their first child, a beautiful girl named Joelle.

Prior to coming to Leeds, Justin was the Associate Rector at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in McLean, from 2009 to 2011, where his ministry focused on strengthening programs for children, youth, and young adults.

Justin is excited that God has called him to serve Leeds Parish, a community that has a special place in his heart:  his parents were married at Leeds; he was baptized here; and his grandparents were longtime members until they passed away.
