Begun in 1990, this monthly gathering of women from the Church and Community provides an opportunity for dinner, fellowship, discussion, and programs on wide-ranging topics to support and enhance the lives of women at Leeds. Past topics include aerobics and yoga classes, dealing with stress, grief counseling, mother/daughter relationships, and discussions of Rev. Turner's trips to Turkey, Greece, and to our sister church in the Diocese of Toungoo, Maynmar.
Held in conjunction with the Craft Group, weekly discussions add to the enrichment of worship and understanding of the Bible.
These periodic 3-4 week Educational series focus on a range of topics, often held during the seasons of Advent and Lent, Upcoming topics for Lent 2000 focus on exploring the importance of Art and the intrepretation of religous icons in the church.
Provide interesting source of reading materials with an emphasis on religion, personal and spiritual growth. Monthly meeting to meet and discuss chosen works such as Rescuing the Bible, Kaaterskill Falls, Things Seen and Unseen, The Apostle Paul, The Harlot by the Side of the Road
Monthly Sunday evening gatherings in the homes of the members of Leeds, these dinners provide a wonderful evening of fellowship and a chance for new and old members to know one another better. The church youth group often provides baby-sitting services at the church for the adult-only events.
Newly formed in 1999, this group, headed by Parish Nurse Charles Brown, plans by-monthly events such as a Mens/boys breakfast, camping outing, etc.
