Wherever you are in spiritual journey, we invite you to participate in one or more of our Adult Education offerings.  They are great opportunities to learn more about the Christian faith and to meet new people.

Young Adults Fellowship

IMG_1179On the second Tuesday of each month, folks in their 20s and 30s meet at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Delaplane, VA from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM for dinner, drinks, and discussion.  Food and beverages provided.  Child care also provided.  All are welcome!

Sunday Lectionary Study

Most Sundays, we meet in the Parish Library at 9:15 AM to discuss that Sunday’s Bible readings.  These informal discussions are led by the Rector or another member of the congregation.

Monday Bible Study

On Mondays, the Rector leads a Bible study on the New Testament at the Orlean Market.  The group meets at 9 AM for breakfast and conversation.  All are welcome.

Thursday Night Classes

At various times throughout the year, the Rector offers 3-5 week educational courses on a particular topic, such as Church history, beliefs and practices of Episcopalians, fundamentals of theology, and non-Christian religions.  A potluck dinner is held before the class.

Women’s Formation:  Women of the Word (WOW)
